Voting and Candidate development
AARC will encourage full participation in the political process from registering people to vote; GOTV campaigns and candidate development for conservative people, in general, and of African descent, in particular, to run for public office.
We will also encourage these same people to become part of the leadership structure of the Republican Party at every level.
Principled Government
AARC will use the R.I.S.E. Principles developed by the Freedom's Journal Institute for the Study of Faith and Public Policy to inform candidates and the general public of the need for sound policies that promote growth and not stifle it. We will proffer a Biblical worldview.
Founding documents
The U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independence are the founding documents of our nation. AARC will maintain a high view of these documents and support candidates and who do the same.
MISSION
AARC was created to build the Republican Party, in general, and increasing African American participation, in particular, to affect the socio-economic and political environment of the state of Illinois for the betterment of all its residents. It seeks to build a statewide constituency and voting block that addresses concerns of African American voters. It challenges the Republican Party, to be righteous, inclusive, and just; and empower African-Americans to actively participate in and seek ownership of local and national political processes.
